                     Requested Projects
1. Third River Flood Damage Reduction
   Non-Federal Sponsors: Townships of Nutley, Bloomfield and Belleville

   A study of the Third River in Nutley/Bloomfield/Belleville. The townships experience
   severe flooding conditions and residual damage instigated by the river.

2. Essex County Stormwater Mapping
   Non-Federal Sponsor: Essex County

   GIS/GPS mapping of stormwater facilities in Essex County so they can be inspected and
   managed properly to help reduce flooding and related problems.

3. Preakness Brook Flood Damage Reduction
   Non-Federal Sponsor: County of Passaic

   A study of the Preakness Brook from French Hill Road/Valley Road to the Pompton
   River. This area frequently suffers from pervasive and severe flooding.

4. Passaic Valley Sewage Commission Projects
   Non-Federal Sponsor: PVSC

   Purchase equipment and increase the wet weather capacity of PVSC plant to enhance
   commercial and recreational use of Passaic River/Newark Bay.

5. McDonalds Brook Flood Damage Reduction
   Non-Federal Sponsor: City of Passaic

   A study of McDonalds Brook which breaches its banks causing severe erosion, silt
   buildup throughout Hugh Lake and potential dam failure.

6. Harbor Deepening Project, Environmental Restoration Initiatives, New York and
   New Jersey
   Non-Federal Sponsor: Port Authority of New York and New Jersey

   To provide for inclusion of environmental restoration and mitigation within the Hudson-
   Raritan Estuary in the PANYNJ harbor deepening project's purposes.

7. Nutley Boat Ramp Dredging
   Non-Federal Sponsor: Township of Nutley

   Study the feasibility of sediment removal from the channel between the Passaic River
   Channel to the boat ramps at Nutley, New Jersey.

8. Floodway Buyout
   Non-Federal Sponsor: NJDEP

   To clarify that the Army Corps retains study authority to continue to update the 1995
   Passaic River Buyout Study.
