Description: PARK RIDGE, NJ, MARCH 19, 2010 - Firefighters from two states responded to a fire that caused extensive damage to a longtime business. The fire department was dispatched to Kroll Lighting for an alarm activation. On arrival, smoke was showing from the threestory brick building. A second alarm was transmitted as firefighters searched for the seat of the fire. Heavy smoke and a well-stocked store made moving about difficult, so the decision was made to evacuate all firefighters and go defensive.
