					   Posting Title Quality Assurance Lead
Responsibilities Bose Corporation is seeking an
                 experienced Quality Assurance (QA)
                 Lead to establish, maintain and
                 improve the QA environment in
                 Corporate Information Services (CIS).
                 The QA Lead will use processes and
                 methods that incorporate industry
                 standards and are developed and
                 implemented in collaboration with
                 members of CIS including Project
                 Managers, Project QA Leads, and
                 Department Managers. The QA lead will
                 at times also lead QA efforts on large
                 scale SAP projects.

                 Responsibilities:
                 •Lead QA efforts on large scale SAP
                 projects.
                 •Lead initiative to improve quality
                 throughout all phases of the IT lifecycle
                 – demand planning through production
                 support.
                 •Establish Goals and Objectives for the
                 IT QA organization and provide day to
                 day leadership
                 •Establish a QA maturity model and
                 then drive improvements based on the
                 model.
                 •Develop, implement, maintain and
                 improve CIS QA processes & standards.
                 Interface with CIS project and
                 production support teams and QA
                 Leads to provide QA direction and
                 support.
                 •Enhance QA assessment framework,
                 and conduct reviews with various
                 projects and teams for effectiveness of
                 and adherence to quality processes.
                 •Provide a framework to collect quality
                 measurements such as defects, issues,
                 change requests, review findings, and
                 improvement opportunities and actions.
                 •Obtain feedback from QA leads on
                 projects, analyze performance data and
                 provide management reports on the
                 effectiveness of the QA system.
                 Evaluate data for trends and initiate
                 corrective actions.
                 •Select, implement and support quality
           management tools.
           •Create and sustain a CIS culture with
           a high awareness of the value of QA.
    Skills Qualifications
           •10+ years experience in IT.
           •5+ years experience in QA in an
           organization with mature process
           framework.
           •Participated in large scale SAP
           projects
           •Strong working knowledge of QA, IT
           lifecycle and industry best practices.
           •Previous supervisory experience
           •Experience implementing formal
           process frameworks such as ISO,
           CMMI, ITIL
           •Experience developing training
           material; Training & mentoring.
           •Experience auditing QA processes.
           •Ability to coach and mentor others in
           QA practices.
           •Strong verbal and written skills for
           clearly directing team members’ efforts
           and for effectively communicating
           results to management.
           •Ability to multi-task working both
           independently and in team
           environments.
           •Experience in automation of test
           cases/test scripts.
           •Experience in configuring and
           maintaining a defect tracking system.
           •Exposure to Mercury testing tools a
           plus.
           •Previous experience in the consumer
           goods sector is a plus.
Education Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
          or related discipline.
