ROYALS REACHING OUT COMING APRIL 3RD!
Royals Reaching Out is our very first all-school service project. Not only is this a method of raising funds for our school, but it is also an opportunity for us as a Body of Believers to honor God by serving others. Information letters, Corporate Sponsor letters, and Business Donation letters were sent home with elementary students and mailed to secondary students in December. DON’T FORGET TO TURN IN YOUR CORPORATE SPONSOR LETTERS SOON! We also sent a copy of a business donation letter that you can take to businesses you frequent such as your doctors, dentists, hairdressers, attorneys, etc. Our goal is 100% participation on April 3rd! High School semester finals will be administered on JANUARY 15 & 16.
The finals schedule will be posted in next week’s memo. Finals Exemptions will be posted in each classroom on Wednesday, January 14. ********************************************************************
NOTICE TO JUNIOR HIGH STUDENTS/PARENTS!!
Junior High students will NOT take finals. JH will have regular class on Thursday, January 15 and NO SCHOOL on Friday, January 16. ******************************************************************** READ TO SUCCEED!! Help your K5-6th grade student earn a FREE ticket to Six Flags! To be eligible your child needs to read a total of six hours before February 18, 2009. Be sure to keep track of their reading on the form being sent home with them today and return it by the deadline of Feb.18th. START READING!! ******************************************************************** TRAVEL TO SPAIN THIS SUMMER! Travel to Barcelona and Madrid. The “Royal Club” QSP Magazine Sale begins Monday, January 12!
We are excited about this year’s sale!
We have been able to help with many areas of the sports programs at CCS this year including a football run-through, an Icee machine for the basketball concession, a pitching machine for softball, an amplifier for the band, basketball warm-ups, helped sponsor varsity cheerleaders to Nationals, and we look forward to more exciting things this year, including the All-Sports Banquet!!
