        FATA Development Authority invites applications from highly motivated Candidates domiciled in NWFP
        and FATA on the prescribed application form upto 12-09-2009, for selection on merit, against the
        following vacancies in FATA Development Authority, Peshawar.

            Appointment will be purely on contract basis, initially for One year (except S.No-03)
             extendable on performance basis and mutual agreement, unless contract terminated earlier.
            Age relaxation can be considered for the candidates having experience of Government Job
             or service in FATA.
            Only short listed candidates will be invited for test/interview.
            No TA/DA will be allowed for test/interview.
            Only the eligible candidates possessing the qualification & experience mentioned against
             each post should fill the application form & return through Email, No other documents need
             to be sent with application form.
            Candidates are required to fill up all the columns. No. hand written applications shall be
             accepted. Last date of receipt of application is 12-09-2009.

        TORs for the posts of Assistant Manager, (Procurement and Inventory), Monitoring
        officer and Assistant Manager (PP&H) are as under:-


                      TORs for the post of Assistant Manager, (Procurement and Inventory)
        1.    Must have a full knowledge of Public Procurement Rules, 2004;
        2.    Must have experience of development RFPs, bidding and tender document;
        3.    Must have practical experience of evaluation of RFPs, bids and tender documents
              according to the pre-determined criteria;
        4.    Must have the ability to prepare and agree procurement plan with key stake holders;
        5.    Must have the ability to prepare contract document for procurement of goods and services;
        6.    Must have working knowledge of income tax and sales tax laws;
        7.    Must have the ability to shift through the project document/PC-Is, firm up procurement and
              purchase of the capital items;
        8.    Ability to prepare packaging inter-related equipments and machinery;
9.   Must have the ability to examine equipments/machines, tools & plants and determining
     their specifications;
10. Should have the ability to prepare comparative statements, placement of supply offers,
     collection and comparison of items with samples;
11. Must have complete knowledge of maintaining inventory of diverse capital items and their
     control lying at various locations;
12. Should have the ability to calculate depreciation and determining stock value;


                                   TORs for the post of Monitoring officer
1.   Electronically receive inputs and outputs, physical and financial annual work plans as per MIS
     protocol from all development projects and partner agencies.
2.   To create a data base from the information collected.
3.   Prepare monthly reports on the data collected by comparing results with targets given in the
     project documents, including shortfalls if any.
4.   Support the Manager (M&E) in formulation of Physical field Monitoring.
5.   Any other task assigned by the Manager (M&E).
6.   Salary negotiable according to the experience and qualification.


                              TORs for the post of Assistant Manager (PP&H)
1.   To coordinate with the Consultants hired for the pre-feasibility study on Township
     Development.
2.   Analyze the reports submitted by the Consultants, provide inputs for improvement and
     compare results to deliverables.
3.   Design policy for infrastructure development of towns in FATA.
4.   Support the GM in the selection and evaluation of partners for carrying out the detail feasibility
     studies and development of townships.
5.   Maintain close liaison with the Design Consultants.
6.   Design projects for Township Development in FATA based on the detail feasibility studies.
7.   Ensure smooth, timely implementation of Township Development projects in FATA.
8.   Coordinate with all Govt. agencies for implementation of the projects.
9.   Maintain financial record of all the projects.
10. Report progress on all the projects related to the sector to the Manager (M&E), FDA.
11. Any other job assigned by Manager (M&E).
12. Salary negotiable according to the experience and qualification.
