Exporting PDFs:
Adobe InDesign CS3 - PC


                Note: We recommend you set up an                                    an
                Adobe PDF Preset so that you
                will not have to reset your settings
                for every PDF you create.

- From the File menu select Adobe PDF Presets/Define .




- When the Adobe PDF Presets window appears select New

Note: We recommend you name this setting
EPC PDF settings.

Marks and Bleeds:
(top picture is the sample for jobs that do not bleed)

We recommend you set your preset up to whichever
method you will use most often (bleed or no bleed)
since this setting can easily be changed when
you save your pdf.

(bottom picture is the sample for jobs that bleed)

Note: We request at least a quarter of an inch of bleed.
If you have your pages set up in the document as spreads
you may choose to change the inside bleed to .05 to avoid
picking up pieces from the adjacent page.

Once you have all the settings set
to match the samples above select OK

Now that your preset is ready,
to Export a PDF:
Under the File menu select
Adobe PDf Presets/EPC PDF Settings




Note: Once you name and save your pdf
you will have the option to choose pages
or change the bleed tab as needed.
