       Welcome to the Moms Radio Network Media Kit

                   This in not your typical media kit.

                   Typically, a media kit will be a few spreadsheets showing you the
                   cost of various advertising methods and leave you to fend for
                   yourself to make decisions that are vital to your business
                   expense with little thought to your marketing budget or goals.

                  You're pretty much left on your own, trying to decide if you can
afford this package or that feature, with no clue how each of them can be used to
build your business. It can be a frustrating and lonely process and it leaves you
vulnerable to making marketing mistakes.

I didn't want to do that. So I'm doing things a bit differently.

My name is Patrysha and I am passionate about promotion (I also happen to love
alliteration!).

This media kit is intended to guide you through the process of choosing to
advertise with audio. If you believe it makes sense for your business, I will invite
you to buy advertising with the Mom's Radio Network. If you know exactly what
you are doing and know what programs you want to be featured on and how many
repetitions you need, of course you can skip the background information and skip
straight to ordering. You will find that information on page xxx.

     For everyone else, stick around and allow me to introduce myself better.

I am a certified radio advisor by day, which is code for “I sell radio advertising.” I'm
good at it, and I love it!

However, having been a small business owner for several years, I prefer having a
more diverse range of products than radio advertising on it's own can provide. So
by night (and on days off) I'm a marketing trouble-shooter . My role is to help
clients identify opportunities to promote their businesses.

Sometimes, those opportunities are free and sometimes those opportunities are
worth every dollar you spend. The Moms Radio Network is one of the latter. It is
quite simply a smart marketing investment.

But before we can even go there -- Remember when I said “If you believe it makes

The only way to know if audio advertising will work for you is if it fits in with your
advertising goals and your general marketing plan! This is vital to your success
with audio advertising and in your business as a whole. I may know advertising
and promotion, but you are the expert in your business.
I think we can all agree that advertising in general is a sound business investment.
As with all investments, there are certain strategies that can improve your rate of
return.

The number one strategy for increasing your rate of return on your marketing
dollar is planning. By creating a simple marketing plan you can reduce your
marketing costs by up to 40%! In some cases, you may be able to save even
more.

Has any marketing manager or advertising representative told you that? That if
you simply plan you can (and will save money)? Too often that is left to the
negotiation stage of the process, when you are already committed to a buy and
are just working out the details.

A marketing plan does not need to be formal or complicated. All you need to start

personally represent.

radio more and perceive that the ads are more relevant to their life. These benefits
and beliefs transfer into Internet Radio broadcasts.

choose a podcast that may not have the same standards of excellence that you

Investing in Mom's Radio Network
A minimum investment of six sales messages is advised for any single podcast,
that is not part of the guest speaker package1. Though the cost varies for each
podcast, the average is $23 for 30 seconds or $138 for a very brief introductory
campaign. Individual circumstances and goals vary, so please consider this as a
guideline only.
You can request particular shows or ask for a rotational campaign on participating
podcasts. Sponsorship opportunities do exist with many, though not all, of the
podcasts represented and contest sponsorships are often requested.

The Process
Once you've decided to invest in any of the Mom's Radio Network member
podcasts, you will be asked to complete a quick initial survey in an easy checklist
format.


Some things that the checklist will help determine are:
...whether you need assistance in deciding which shows will suit your business
needs.
...whether you have a ready to dub mp3 to be forwarded to the host or producer.
...whether you need resources for commercial writing or production
...what tracking measures you will be utilizing
....how often you need your sales message to run to be effective
...whether your copy is likely to be effective
...and other facts that will help make your campaign as successful as possible.
After analyzing your request, I will either put the order through and invoice you for
the advertising purchase or will request further information to complete the order.

Preparation stage
This is when copy is written, evaluated and approved. You may choose to
outsource part of this process to vendors outside of the Moms Radio Network or
record yourself. You will be provided a list of service providers who members have
worked with successfully before if you don't have a preferred provider already in
place.

Production and Airing
After we've received your approval on the final mp3 to air, it will be forwarded to
the producer of the show. They will log it in to play on the selected air dates. You
will receive a copy outlining the exact times it will be located in each recording.
After the Campaign
You will receive, along with the exact time stamps of your sales message, a
compilation of requested traffic information. Please note that no member podcast
will give identifying information on their personal listeners as this would breach
most member podcasts privacy acts.

Will especially appeal to advertisers of: cloth diapers, natural/herbal products,
products or services in natural childbirth, breastfeeding, attachment parenting, and
natural and organic living.


                              2 Prim Talk Radio
                 If you need a business to business connection or you need to
                 reach crafting professionals and hobbyists, then Prim Talk Radio
                 is your advertising solution.


Prim Talk Radio serves a growing listener base of crafting mothers who are
interested in growing their online craft-based business ventures. The listeners are
savvy and creative who are finding ways to balance love, life and business.
Will especially appeal to advertisers who provide business advice and
development, wholesale craft supplies, and those who have patterns, guidelines
and tips to help crafting businesses grow.




3 Mom Daughter Connection Radio Show
             If your business appeals to a Christian market, the Mom Daughter
             Connection is your connection for advertising. Each show is jam
             packed with scripturally based tips and advice for moms and their
             tween and teen daughters on coping with faith issues in a modern
             world at an often difficult stage of life. Tackling tough topics from

products.




                               5 Mom's Money
                  Financial planners, mortgage brokers and insurance dealers –
                  take note. Mom's Money is a great platform to promote your
                  services.

the financial sector.

                  specializing in work at home moms, and hosted by the well
                  known and inspirational Internet Marketing specialist, Kelly
                  McCausey, the show attracts over 1500 listeners each week.

Will appeal to advertisers with products involved in food preparation, food storage
and food presentation as well as for recipe and tip books.
Common Questions:

1 How long should a campaign last?
       That depends on your goals and the purpose behind the campaign. If you
       are having a short term sale, you may want to advertise heavily for two
       weeks using a range of member podcasts. However, if you have a target
       with a buying cycle on either extreme (luxury items or consumables) then
       you will need a branding campaign and may choose to stick with one or two
       podcasts over a long period of time.

2 Can I just buy one commercial?
       No, buying only one doesn't have any significant potential to deliver results
       and so no packages are offered with this option.

3   Can I buy advertising for just one podcast
       Yes, as long as you're referring to buy a series of at least six on that one
       podcast. If you are referring to buying just one available advertising spot on
       one podcast, then the answer is no, as explained in answer

4 Will I save money if I buy a large run of commercials at once?
       In the short term, no. Unlike traditional radio stations that may be able to
       offer you discounted rates for a heavy schedule, the time available for sale
       on a podcast is much more limited. When paying for podcast advertising
       you are paying for relative exclusivity that is inherent to the format.
       However, since rates go up as listenership does, you do have the
       opportunity to lock in at current rates when you choose to commit to a l
       onger contract schedule.

5 What if a show I choose stops running?
       In the very unlikely occasion that this should occur, you will have the option
       of shifting your budget to another member podcast or requesting a refund
       for un-aired shows. We regret that we cannot provide a discount on
       occasions already aired.
