     1.      SUMMARY

     1.1     A decision of the Portfolio Holder for Social Care Health & Housing on 15 th June regarding
             the future of the Rachel Notley Day Centre has been called in by Cllrs Chris Maines, Reg
             Adams, Jane Connor, Denise Payton, Jenny Powell and Grace Goodlad.

     1.2     The reason for the call-in is as follows -

             "We believe that Cllr Phillips failed to take proper notice of the consultation that had taken
              place and that he made the wrong decision."

     1.3     The minutes of the Portfolio Holder’s meeting (including the questions put by members of
             the public) and the report are attached.

     1.4     The options before the Committee are to (i) take no further action, in which case the
             decision may be implemented, or (ii) refer the decision back to the Executive, with
             reasons, for re-consideration.

     2.1     The Committee to determine whether any further action should be taken on the call-in.
