A meeting of the Conservation Areas/Community Relations Advisory Committee was held on
May 15, 2008 beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Administration Office of Conservation Halton.

5.1 Review and Approval of Conservation Halton’s Viewpoints on Biodiversity and
Hunting & Fishing

Minor changes were recommended with regards to age and fishing license
requirements.

THAT the Conservation Areas/Community Relations Advisory Committee recommend
to the Conservation Halton Board of Directors that the ViewPoints on Biodiversity
and Hunting and Fishing be approved.

6.1 Master Plan Progress

Neil Switzer is to circulate the Terms of Reference to Committee members and to
provide a report to the Committee in the Fall regarding the hiring of a consultant.

information the staff report dated May 5th, 2008 on the Master Plan Study Update.

Correction in paragraph 5 …. ‘pressure in today’s norms could result in a 35%
reduction’, instead of ‘355’ noted.
