        2010 PENNIES 4 PAWS KICKS OFF FEBRUARY, 12TH
            The 2010 “Pennies 4 Paws” fundraising campaign begins on February 12th and
            goes through April 17th. This year, we would like to raise $22,000 to help
            defray the costs generated by medical expenses for the animals in the care of
            CCHS. Each pet that is taken in by the shelter receives vaccines, are wormed,
            spay/neutered, flea treatment if needed and are micro-chipped. Cats are also
            Feline Leukemia and Feline Aids tested. If we have a cruelty or neglect case,
            many times these pets require additional and sometimes extensive care. It
            truly doesn’t take long for the medical bills to add up. We are committed to
            providing the best care we can for all the animals entrusted to us. If you
