From the Parish Priest…
The promises of God are fulfilled if God‟s will is obeyed. Mary believed the promises made her by the Lord and through her
cooperation the prophecies were realised and Jesus was born to be one with us (1 Reading). In His humanity Jesus was
obedient to His Divine Father even to accepting death, death on a cross. Here I am, I am coming to obey your will (2 Reading).
To discern and respond to God‟s will requires us to be humble, generous and brave – but only in this way will we experience
the joy that comes from a recognition of God‟s presence in our lives (Gospel).
WELCOME to any visitors and new parishioners. Please join us in the hall after the 9am Mass for a cup of tea and a chat.

members of the Parish will take place on Wednesday 30th December from 4pm til 7pm. Offers of help on the day, either

donation/message to relative/friend. As donations are still being made, the final total will be announced at Christmas Masses.

MASS INTENTIONS: Mass is offered each day for the intentions that are presented to the Parish Priest. Recently the
number of such intentions has become less than the number of masses which can be celebrated each week. Mass is the best
prayer that can be made for your loved ones, living or deceased. The donations (or „stipends‟) customarily made to the Priest
for rendering this service are entirely optional, but they are one of the principal sources of regular income for your Priests, in
this parish and diocese and also on the foreign missions. Envelopes for your Mass intentions are available in the porch.
Simply fill them in and hand to Fr. Pat or Su, put them in with the collection or put them through the presbytery letter box.
