The whole line should highlight. Then press the "Delete" key on the keyboard. Buttons do not work: Office 97-2003 You must allow Macros to work in the security settings -- Tools>Macro>Security> Set to low Printing Envelopes: You should be able to use your normal Letter #10 Settings on your printer. Read your printer Manual to set size paper and orientation of Envelope. If Printer is not centered properly you may adjust by moving the type on page or adjusting your margins. Printing Tri Fold Brochures: Brochures must be printed in advance using another program. The middle section must be empty on the middle outside section. This is where the address will go. Do not fold brochures until printing is done as it will cause paper jams. MD of the PC does have a Word File with the formatting already set up, you have to request it seperately. Postcard Printing: Prepaid postcards must be purchased at the post office, these sell at a discount rate and make excellent reminder cards. Easy advertisements or other informational advertisements These require two side to be printed. Create your message, then print them to your Customers as needed. Great way to offer discounts, gift certificates, and other incentives. Printing Labels: Easiest of all printing methods, to print labels go to office supply store and pick up a package of Avery 8160 Labels. They come thrirty per sheet and print out labels to stick to your customers mailings. Great for Billing especially if you have preprinted letterhead on your envelopes. Changing Format on Printing tools: You should never have to change the formatting to make the printing work. There may be a need to make minor adjustments to meet the needs of the individual printers available. First try to read the printer manual to see if anything needs to be changed on the printer, thickness, sheet size, orientation or other printer setting. If all that is needed is a minor adjustment you can do this using the margin control on the excel program. Direct typing on the screen may help place things in it's proper place. This will not work in places where information is automatically written. Maunually setting up your Return address: When you go to edit each section, hover your mouse over the area first to see instructions tell you if this section is editable. The Return address is editable in the #10 Envelope page, Post card address page, and the Trifold Flier page. You may type whatever you wish here, change the font, Change the color etc. try to remain within the fields provided however to keep the formatting working properly. Setting up your postcard message: Use the Page preview button to get a look and feel for the boarders of the card are. When you shut it off the borders will remain visible by dotted lines. You can type any message here you would like, even put pictures as long as it remains within the borders. MD of the PC can provide automated messages such as reminders etc. How to select Customers you wish to print: The Default is to print any rows Maked with an small "x" in the third column. You may mix and match Letters as desired to separate some costomers from others such as customer already done with a "D".
