ADVICE "First of all, it is not cardio, so if someone is looking for getting their heart rate up, and getting really fast results, it's not going to happen with Pilates because it's slower. People have to be patient with it, but if they con find the mind-body connection that goes into thinking about this type of intelligent exercise - if they can commit to that, they'll get the results they want. What I mean by that is the commitment to thinking through and paying attention to the exercises instead of just throwing their body around. It's very methodically thinking through what they're taught and how to do it and what muscles are working. It's not just hoping you're going to get the leg in the right place and the arm in the right place."
