Success with awards can also act as a catalyst to explore new ideas giving a team the confidence and internal endorsement to move forward with various initiatives. Perhaps this is best illustrated by the National Centre for Applied Learning Technologies, where Mark Osborne, head of e-learning, explains they've seen an increase in commissions to develop new e-learning products and greater engagement with police forces.
