[McCain], the Weekly Standard's candidate in 2000, never met a war he didn't like. And he seems more fixated on earmarks-a minor part of the massive budget-than serious fiscal reform. Asked what constraints the meltdown would put on her party's many promises, his running mate didn't name one.
