									              The Sault Ste. Marie Francophone Centre is proud to announce it’s
                   “Franco-Fiers” (Franco-Pride) Mascot Drawing Contest!

             Submit your ideas for a mascot that will represent the pride, the
             diversity, the history and the Francophone culture.

               Win a Franco-Fiers prize pack worth $100. The winning entry will
                   be reproduced and will become our Mascot Franco-Fiers!

                                                       Contest Rules :
•   The theme is Franco-Fiers
•   Keep in mind that the face of the person wearing the mascot costume will have to be hidden by the costume
•   The contest is open to everyone. No age limit
•   Each drawing must be an original work, submitted on letter size paper. (8 1/2”x 11”).
•   Every medium is accepted: crayons, pencil, charcoal, paint, etc.
•   Each contestant can only submit one drawing.
•   Your drawing is to be accompanied by a brief description about what the mascot represents and a short
    explanation that tells why your mascot should be chosen as the Franco-Fiers mascot. These few sentences
    must be written on a separate sheet of paper and must be legible.
           The contest ends Monday, September 28th 2009 (Monday following the anniversary of the franco-ontarian flag)

           The following information must be written on the back of both submitted pages and must be legible :
      •    Full name                                                            •    The name of the school (if you are a student)
      •    Age (if under 18 years old)                                          •    Email address (if available)
      •    Telephone number                                                     •    Name of the parent and/or guardian if under 18 years

Submit by mail or in person at: Centre Francophone de Sault-Sainte-Marie, 104 Rankin Rd., Sault Ste. Marie (ON), P6A 4R8.

An official jury will select the winner. No drawing will be returned. The organizors do not assume any responsibility in case of damage or loss of
drawings. Participants grant free use of their work in conjunction with this contest as well as in the promotional materials of Franco-Fiers and the
Centre Francophone de Sault-Sainte-Marie. The winner grants permission to the Centre Francophone de Sault-Sainte-Marie to reproduce, modify
and/or adapt the idea chosen in the creation of the Franco-Fiers mascot. The mascot is the property of the Centre Francophone de
Sault-Sainte-Marie. The name of the winner will be announced on the Francophone Centre’s website ( as well as in Le
Voyageur newspaper.
