RMI Management celebrates 20th anniversary with
community service, doing good deeds
LAS VEGAS – As Southern Nevada’s largest community association
management company, it’s only fitting for RMI Management (RMI) to
celebrate its 20th anniversary by focusing on community service.
Throughout the past year, RMI identified 20 good deeds to help its
employees and clients celebrate its 20 years of service to Southern
Nevada communities and homeowners.
“Our clients are the ones who have helped us become the leader in the
community association industry, so it was only fitting that to celebrate our
anniversary, we give back to those who have helped us,” said Kevin
Wallace, president and CEO of RMI.
Through its Benevolent Heart program, RMI donated a total of $1,800 to
assist people with association issues, such as installing landscaping,
waiving fines, or building ramps for disabled residents. Deserving
homeowners were nominated by their neighbors for this assistance,
reinforcing a sense of community in Las Vegas.
RMI also continues to donate to various non-profit groups such as
Children’s Heart Foundation, Boy Scouts of America, That Others May Live
Foundation and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
But the company’s good deeds didn’t end there. RMI employees also
collected items for various local charities. These include collecting
pajamas for the DJs for PJs program, newborn supplies for clients of Safe
Nest, toys for children at Safe House, and food and clothing for students
at Red Rock Elementary School, a local school adopted by RMI.
Many RMI employees donated their time to participate in causes like the
Children’s Heart Foundation Walk-a-thon and the Walk to Cure Diabetes.

Other good deeds included sponsoring nine ash trees for the city of
Henderson’s 2009 Arbor Day celebration. The trees were planted in Morrell
Park.
RMI employees also participated in the Community Association Industry’s
(CAI) birthday event for students at Red Rock Elementary School. Many
of the children attending the school have never experienced a birthday
party, Wallace said. RMI provided funds and items such as balloons, cakes
and party favors to the students.
Wallace said his company, which opened its doors in Las Vegas in 1989,
and its employees will continue helping their neighbors in 2010 and
beyond.
“Besides being the right thing to do, we have found that community
service helps us attract the best employees and clients,” he said. “It’s a
big part of our culture here at RMI and we’re committed to doing more in
the years to come.”
