the desired temperature in next to no time – for ultimate comfort.

Introducing the latest addition to the award-winning GROHE
thermostat family, introducing the Grohtherm 1000 Cosmopolitan.
The minimalist sibling of the tried-and-tested Grohtherm 1000
completes the Cosmopolitan style segment in the lower price
range. A smart choice for a young and modern lifestyle in today’s
bathroom.


The new Grohtherm 1000 Cosmopolitan represents the perfect
balance of quality, technology and design. It combines
unmistakable aesthetics with high-tech features such as GROHE
TurboStat® at an attractive price. Its most special feature is that it
has been reduced to an absolute minimum; with a diameter of only
four centimetres, it is extremely compact. A minimalist in the truest
sense of the word.


Its compact body is styled to perfection, with the slim cylinder of
the thermostat body and the two handles forming a sleek unit. The
proportions are ideally matched, resulting in clear shapes and
smooth surfaces. Simply beautiful, the minimalist design blends in
perfectly with modern Cosmopolitan style bathrooms where the

focus on the essential, without being cold or distant, and attractive
discretion sets the tone. Thanks to its pure aesthetics, the
thermostat also looks the part in open-plan Contemporary style
bathrooms.


Designed for added comfort


The design serves not only an aesthetic purpose but also
encourages intuitive and ergonomic operation. Small recesses on
the backs of the handles ensure easy handling. Even the two
flush-mounted push buttons do not distract from the soft curves of
the handles.


One of the two buttons, the GROHE SafeStop button, primarily
serves to protect the user. Only if this button is pressed can the
temperature be increased above 38 °C. The GROHE EcoButton
reduces the flow rate by up to 50 percent without compromising
the showering pleasure. Users can enjoy the full amount of water
again simply by pressing the button. This water-saving function
makes the Grohtherm 1000 Cosmopolitan a member of the new
GROHE EcoJoy™ range – a range of products designed for
reduced water consumption.


The inner values


The heart of the Grohtherm 1000 Cosmopolitan is the cartridge with
the unique GROHE TurboStat® technology, which ensures that the
thermostat reaches the desired water temperature in a fraction of a
second and maintains it even in the event of pressure fluctuations.
