When: Saturday, May 22, 2010 (rain or shine, please dress appropriately!)

Time: Registration/Check-in begins at 9:00 a.m.

Why: To raise money for abused, abandoned, or injured Siberian Huskies, so that they
may be properly cared for and placed in loving homes. Walkers are asked to get
pledges to support their walking for AAHI.

How: Register at www.adoptahusky.com after April 1, 2010
            Call 612-986-2244 for additional information.

Goal: This year our goal is to raise over $15,000.

Hike Day: All Pledge money must be turned in at the Hike, along with your pledge form. Make
checks payable to Adopt A Husky, Inc. Hikers will walk a beautiful 1 or 3 mile trail
with their dog(s) OR one of our Fosters, if available, (Children must be over the
age of 16 and with an adult to walk one of our foster dogs). Lunch is included for
all participants turning in pledges or those who give a donation. Insect repellant
            should be brought also.

Prizes: Raise over $50.00 and receive a Husky Hike 2010 T-shirt. Pre-register (by 4/30)
and receive a door prize (one bag per hiker). All registered hiking dogs will receive
a medallion for their participation. Prizes awarded for the most sponsors and
money collected by a hiker and a volunteer.

Rules: All dogs MUST remain leashed (6’ max length) at all times - No flexi leashes are
allowed. (Any dog on a flexi leash will be required to buy a regular leash at the
hike.) You must pick up after your dog (clean up supplies will be provided). All
dogs MUST be current on their vaccinations, in general good health and must be
wearing their rabies tag along with their ID tags. NO female dogs in “heat” are
allowed. Puppies under 6 months old and older dogs will be required to walk a
            shorter distance for the hike.
Larger dogs will be attending the Hike, so we ask that you do not bring smaller
            breed dogs.
Extras: Hike T-shirts, AAHI merchandise, Micro-Chipping, and your dog, Silent Auction
(One-of-a kind Husky items and more!), Information, Games, and demonstrations.

Since August of 1998, we have expanded to include seven Midwest states and three Pacific
Northwest states. Nearly 1250 Siberian Huskies in our care have been placed in loving,
permanent homes. The medical bills and administrative costs involved with our operation grow
with each foster dog we take in. Car crash victims, pregnant mothers, abused animals,
heartworm cases and puppy-mill shut downs are the most costly to deal with. We average over
100 dogs in foster care at any given time with a continual waiting list. Please help us raise funds
to be used for continuing our ability to give good dogs a second chance.

Please join the volunteers and “family of adopters” of Adopt A Husky in an experience you won't
forget. No matter what your monetary commitment is, you WILL make a difference in helping
these deserving Siberian Huskies receive proper care and find a proper home.

Can’t make the Hike this year? Live a little too far away to participate or won’t be
in town on this date? We would love to have you join our list of “Satellite Hikers” this year!
Simply send in your form with the words “Satellite Hiker” on the top, collect your pledges, hike
with your husky in your neighborhood, and send in your pledges to the address on the reverse
side. Our dogs will greatly appreciate your dedication!

We Need your Support – Please Help Us By Joining the Hike. If you have
any questions, please call Adopt A Husky at 612-986-2244 or email
