									             Tea and Biscuits Fiber Art Quilt

Tea and Biscuits is a machine appliquéd fused design using fabrics and silk flowers. Any colors may be used to
create this pictorial quilt the fabric amounts are listed below.
*Pattern is available at the Quilt Patch—a must have item
*Black pigma pen
*Tracing paper
*Parchment paper or Teflon Sheet for pressing when using fusible web
*Silk flowers and leaves removed from the stems
*2 yards fusible paper back web—such as wonder under, steam a seam, lite heat and bond
*Thread to match or contrast with the cups and vase
*Invisible thread sulky and YLI are just a few who make the thread
*Tissue paper or stitch and tear for stabilizing when machine appliquéing
*Quilting thread to coordinate with the table and background
*White, green, gray, brown, yellow, cream, red and med blue threads—use whatever you have embroidery,
polyester, cotton—it is for decorative stitching around the designs.
*Background wall fabric--¾ yard
*Batting
*Backing
*Table fabric--¼ yard
*Scrap pieces for the vase, cups
* Small pieces white, green, gray, brown, yellow, cream, red, med blue (fabric substitutes are encouraged) be
creative in your fabric choices.
* Pencil or pen for drawing on fusible paper

Other Supplies Needed:
Sewing machine, extra needles, bobbins, manual
Basic sewing supplies: scissors, pins, seam ripper, etc.
Lunch and a drink—no refrigeration is available
