Welcome to our new Community Learning Prospectus for the north
of Suffolk. We do hope that you enjoy reading about the wide
variety of courses that are on offer and find one that meets your
needs.
Suffolk County Council together with the local providers actively
promotes lifelong learning. We believe that it is important for
people of all ages to continue to develop new skills. Community
learning classes also may be an important social experience,
leading to the development of new friendships.
If you have any suggestions about classes or activities you would
like to have the opportunity to participate in please do contact the
administrators at local centres who will be pleased to hear from
you.

The prices quoted represent the fees for one term only and the three
prices refer to a full fee first, people over 60 second and for those
receiving benefits third.

FEES AND CONCESSIONS

We are pleased to be able to announce that fees for 2009/10 are being held at
the same cost for the third year in succession.
This year the full adult fee for a ten week term is £75 for a two hour class.
The full fee is the first figure shown under the day and time.
There are concessions available for those of 60+ under 19 or who are
receiving certain benefits. Please note that we will need to verify your
concession
Please complete concession section on enrolment form.
Students aged between 16 - 19 at 31st August - 55%
Fees for students and any of the means tested benefits are shown as the
third figure in the costs, e.g. £30.00 per term for a two hour class.
People over 60 who are not receiving any of the above benefits will
receive a 20% reduction in fee - the centre cost figure £60.

Students will be taught the basic steps of the Rhythm Foxtrot and the Cha Cha Cha,

taught the basic steps of the Waltz, Quickstep and Jive. The class will progress at the
speed that is comfortable for everyone.
At the end of the course students will have been taught the basic routines for all the
