Dear Learner

Welcome to our new Community Learning Prospectus for the north
of Suffolk. We do hope that you enjoy reading about the wide
variety of courses that are on offer and find one that meets your
needs.

Suffolk County Council together with the local providers actively
promotes lifelong learning. We believe that it is important for
people of all ages to continue to develop new skills. Community
learning classes also may be an important social experience,
leading to the development of new friendships.

If you have any suggestions about classes or activities you would
like to have the opportunity to participate in please do contact the
administrators at local centres who will be pleased to hear from
you.

Our learners have said that:
“I have particularly enjoyed the welcome received from the tutor
and the personal attention she has given to me",

"I am now able to set up my own business and work from home as a
result of going to the evening classes"

“My evening class is important to me. I have made new friends and
we now meet outside of the classes, as well".

We do hope that you chose to join one of our classes and wish you a
very successful year.
