We are looking to recruit a Signalling Executive to provide product related technical advice
and to support signalling equipment queries to both customers and Unipart staff.

Managing a team of 6 people, you will review and action technical documents, and manage the
engineering change procedure for the service centres. You will be responsible for reviewing
companywide technical documents and drawings, appraising new and amended Network Rail
specifications, and assessing their potential impact on the industry. You will conduct technical
audits of materials for customers to verify their fitness for purpose, including line-side audits
of materials for use at trackside. This will require a Personal Track Safety qualification for
which training can be provided.

You will also be involved in the product development of new and/or modified existing designs
to suit the needs of the customer.

You must have previous experience of Signalling/Infrastructure materials and have a technical
railway background.     Qualified to HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronic
Engineering, you must also have a good working knowledge of the Technical Standards and
Engineering principles.

Good communication and problem solving skills are essential in the role along with flexibility
and good interpersonal skills.
