                             Fluent in English – German would be a plus
                                         Under GM Authority
                                             (3 divisions –
         Chairside : Direct and Dealers
         Endodontic : Dealers
         Laboratory Direct and Dealers



                                  Main Responsibilities :


* Management
      Monitors the overall performance of all direct reports and provides prompt objective
      coaching, counselling and advice.
      Develop key performance indicators to carefully follow up the development of direct
      reports
      Continuously coach and train his/her direct Managers and verify that themselves coach
      with adequate objectives and measurement skills their Direct Reports and below in
      order to improve management and selling skills (product knowledge)
      Set agreed targets and control achievements with adequate transparency
      Co-travel/visit the sales territories / area sales managers
      Conduct appraisal to identify strengths and needs for collective and individual
      development plan
      Hire, manage and develop a staff of marketing management professionals.

* Marketing
      Identify and analyse major market trends, political changes and shifts within areas
      relating to market, university opinions and consumer habits
      Define the development of strategic marketing plans for France. Periodically, review
      strategy in view of changing market and / or competitive situation.
      Adjust plan (pricing, promotional tools, campaigns) appropriately to meet sales
      objectives
      Develop routine KPI reports and revise projections as needed
      Attend all major and several regional professional meetings to interface with
      customers and remain up to date on scientific and product trends.
      Observe major changes and activities from competitors´ organizations and product
      ranges

* Transversal contribution
      Key contributor to financial and marketing/operations forecasting processes
      Guarantee that all urgent information relating to the safety of customers/end
      users/patients or any other informations that may have an influence on the
      performance of the markets or generally, is immediately reported to adequate
      departments
      Routinely submit reports on expenses and performances of the different areas to the
      GM
      Key contact and coordination with other Dentsply locations
      Ensure transversal communication on all marketing actions to customer service

     •    University degree in a business - MBA ideal
     •    Multi year success in achieving sales/profit targets as a Marketing Manager / Director
     •    Challenging assignments in different types of sales organization
                  (experience on the field as sales rep would be welcome)
     •    Created and successfully executed marketing strategies, budgeting, administration
     •    Fully understands the P+L function and committed to on time delivery of results
     •    Achieved results through others, manage managers
     •    Effective development and management of processes to grow and drive sales
     •    Strong leadership skills and a great motivator
     •    People and Performance Management. Identifies key drivers and low performers and
          an initiator of changes
     •    Has high expectations on himself and his direct reports
     •    Understands people and can work effectively with different types of personalities at all
          levels of the organization
