GLUBKA NAMED INTERIM CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER VALLEJO, Calif., August 3, 2004 – The Hospital Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that Terry Glubka, R.N., MBA has accepted the position of interim CEO for Sutter Solano Medical Center. Terry is currently the Chief Patient Care Executive with oversight for all clinical and support services at the Hospital. This appointment becomes effective on August 27 and will remain until the Board of Trustees and Medical Staff leadership select a permanent successor to Beverly Gilmore. Beverly has accepted the position of President and CEO at West Hills Hospital & Medical Center in southern California. She will continue to serve as CEO at Sutter Solano until August 27. In addition to her 4 years as the Chief Patient Care Executive at Sutter Solano, she has served as Deputy Chief Operating Officer at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose and Chief Nursing Officer / Chief Operations Officer at South Valley Hospital in Gilroy. Terry has 17 years of experience as a critical care and emergency care nurse. Since her arrival at Sutter Solano, Terry has been instrumental in leading such patient safety programs as eMAP, Project Hope to achieve service operations excellence and the development of the upcoming Emergency Department facility enhancements.
