Link Formatting Examples
The URL for displaying the events at library 1 for today would look like the following.
[Path to event calendar]/eventcalendar.asp?ln=1 [Path to event calendar]/eventcalendar.asp?ln=ALL
For displaying only 1 or more event types:
[Path]/eventcalendar.asp?et=Adult+Program [Path]/eventcalendar.asp?et=Adult+Program,+Author+ Lecture
For displaying the calendar in list format:
[Path]/eventcalendar.asp?df=list
For displaying the events of a particular week in the future
[Path]/eventcalendar.asp?dt=dr&ds=2007-5-1&de=2007-5-7
Link Formatting
ln – this is used to control the events for a given library/branch or events for all branches [Default is 0]. Use the library number (lib=x) or “ALL” (ln=ALL) to specify which branches’ events that are to be displayed or all.
df – this designates the display format: calendar or list
et – this is used to limit the output to only certain event types. The default is to show all event types. You can specify multiple event types by separating them with a comma and a space (et=Adult+Program,+Book+Discussion) dt=dr and ds, de – These can be used to specify a date range. dt=dr designates date range then “ds” is date start and “de” is date end. As in ds=2007-5-1&de=20075-7 ag – this is used to limit the output to only events for certain age groups.
