Tuesday 2nd March 2010.
In partnership with El Gouna Tennis Club, we have organized a
‘Discover Tennis’ concept. I will be taking classes from Foundation 2 to Year
8 over to the Tennis Club for 2 free sessions per class the week of Sunday
7th and 14th March 2010. These sessions will take place during their PE
All equipment will be provided by the Tennis Club. If your
son/daughter has a tennis racquet of their own they are welcome to bring it.
Please may I ask that you provide your child with extra water, sun cream and
a hat for those PE lessons. It would be best (but not compulsory) if your
son/daughter wears trainers (flat soles, no studs) for PE on that day and no
skirts for the girls. Arnaud, the head coach, will be present during all
sessions and will deliver them himself with the help of one of his coaches. I
will also be present to help him. All classes will go over to the Tennis Club
with myself and Ms. Chris, one of our primary assistants.
I hope you will appreciate that this is a fantastic opportunity for your
child to take part in an activity where the school and the local community can
share facilities. I know that some of our pupils are already members of the
Tennis Club and I hope that many more will wish to join in the future as we
are very lucky to have such facilities in El Gouna!
Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions.
