Basic Construction Management
The Basic Construction Management Certificate at the Dunwoody Southwest
Metro Campus seeks to address the increasing demand for construction
managers by providing the venue in which to develop the skills and
knowledge essential to successful construction management. The CM
Certificate provides you with distinct benefits: it recognizes those who
have accumulated a specific level of knowledge and skills that increase
professional stature; demonstrates your commitment to improvement of
individual professional capabilities; provides you with a marketable credential
to an employer and increased opportunities for job advancement, and
assures employers of your competency upon which quality assurance and
quality control programs depend.
Students earn a Dunwoody Certificate after three quarters. Two classes
are offered each quarter in order for the certificate to be earned in three
quarters. Students with previous training or experience in construction may
arrange to take selected courses within the program. Because classes are
