Employee of the Month Certificate 1. Choose “Award Certificates” from the list of Wizards in Publisher. 2. Find the “Employee of the Month” Certificate. (it is blue) 3. ‘Save your work’! Use Advertisement instructions if you forgot how File name: first names–certificate 4. Click the Start Wizard button – answer the wizard questions as you wish, with the exception of the following: Say No when it asks you to insert a customer‟s address. 5. Use the Home/Family personal information set. Click Update. Use the school address and phone number, plus the fax number provided.
Use the email address you used in everything else, etc. Click update
when you are finished with all the boxes (at the bottom of the page)

Insert your Business Name – (in the top area – make the font the same size
as the person‟s name + add Bold print)

Insert the employee’s name (must match one of the two you wrote on your
original business plan)

add the coma and space]
9. Delete the top signature line by right clicking on it and choose „delete object‟ from the menu. (You will use only one signature line)

Replace the word “Signature” with your name / owner. Replace the word “date” with March 14, 2006 add
business Logo & Motto (Same as: advertisement, business card, calendar, etc.)
12. Delete the {pyramid logo, etc.} logo [right click on it / delete object] and
13. Print out a final draft x 1
Sign it – in ink – in cursive - with your full name above/on the line where
you typed your name 14. Write (in cursive) March 14, 2006 above the date line. 15. Hand-in your signed certificate to be graded
