Course Description:
This course addresses the fundamental principles of project management, as well as the tools and techniques available
to help achieve project goals. These principles, largely developed and tested on engineering projects, are being
successfully applied to projects of all sizes and types within the business world.
        Duration: 26 sessions. Offered one evening a week from 6-9 pm.
        PMI® Professional Development Units (PDUs): 160; Continuing Education Units (CEUs) : 16
        Price: $1275.00

Course Lecturers:
Lloyd Bartlett, P. Eng., MBA, PMP
Mr. Bartlett is a practitioner and trainer in project management, a trained engineer and designated Professional Project
Manager (PMP). He has over 20 years experience in successfully managing projects varying from multi-million dollar
construction contracts to several thousand dollar (and several week) initiatives.
Dulce Oliveira, CBAP
Dulce Oliveira’s 20-year career in IT has spanned project management, quality assurance and business analysis. Ms
Oliveira has led project teams focused primarily on IT, including the successful delivery of projects in the year 2000
portfolio. She is one of the founding members of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), a not for profit
organization dedicated to the advancement of the Business Analysis profession.

Additional Information:
        There are no academic or language pre-requisites for this course.
        Students are expected to have access to the Internet.
        The courses are given in English.
        Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive an attestation from McGill University indicating
        the number of CEUs and PDUs earned.

     1.   Registration Form, signed and dated
     2.   Permanent Code Data Form, signed and dated
          (If you do not have a McGill Student Number (ID) and/or do not know your Permanent Code, please fill in sections 3 – 8 on
          the Permanent Code Data Form; the ID number and code will be generated for you.)
     3.   One of the following supporting documents, clearly and legibly photocopied:
          - Canadian Birth Certificate
                   OR
          - Canadian Citizenship Card (both sides)
                   OR
          - Permanent Resident Card (both sides) and landing paper (IMM1000/5292)

                   OR
          - Canadian passport and Québec High School or Cegep transcript

Payment:
Fees may be paid by Visa or MasterCard by completing the appropriate section on the registration form. We also accept payment by
personal cheque.

If you wish to cancel your registration:
Please advise the Department of General Studies in writing either:
     1) Prior to the first lecture to obtain a full refund.
     2) Prior to the third lecture with a 100$ cancellation fee and full refund.
     3) After the third lecture withdrawal with no refund of course fees (please note this option implies a withdrawal, and a grade
        of “W” will appear on your transcript).
