BUDGET ANALYST I P1010 (L0331)
Definition: This is technical work in the field of budget
An employee in this class is responsible for compiling and
analyzing budgetary information for a single operating
program or for comparable segments of different operating
programs. Work involves contacts with fiscal and operating
officials to obtain information or to explain well-
established policies, procedures, principles and
precedents. The employee is expected to carry out his work
assignments within established procedures and precedents
and his work is checked occasionally during process by a
supervisor for conformance with established procedures and

Analyzes monthly departmental budgeting and accounting
