The Paleo Diet - The Science of Healthy Eating
Lecture Series and Dinner with Loren Cordain, PhD

The Paleo Diet is a way of eating that best simulates the nutrition of our
evolutionary and genetic heritage, our ancestral paleolithic diet.

For millions of years our paleolithic (stone age) ancestors ate combinations of
lean meat, seafood, plants, fruit and nuts. But today more than 70% of our
dietary calories come from foods that humans are not genetically adapted to eat.
The result is epidemic levels of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, osteoporosis,
arthritis, cancer, gastrointestinal disease and more.

Dr. Cordain has lectured throughout the world as a leading expert on the diet of our
paleolithic ancestors and how it can improve our health NOHA is proud to welcome
Dr. Cordain to Chicago to share his knowledge and research.
