Please make sure to enter the correct information for the previous fiscal year so that the computer can accurately calculate your maximum increase allowed. If this information is incorrect you will need to resubmit your budget. The previous year’s actual attendance must be recorded on the budget form for budget submission. All Student Organizations will make a reasonable effort to save decorations funded by A&S fee money. No more than $200 of A&S fees shall be provided for the compensation of Disc Jockey services. No Student Government organization shall be permitted to use A&S fee funds on any function hosted at a private residence. A&S fee advertising funds can only be expended on advertising media in the City of Gainesville. When contacting businesses for quotes be sure to mention you need prices for the 07’-08’ school year. Student Government does not generally pay for Radio Ads, instead we encourage organization to ask for free public service announcements. Copies Line is for copies that are made in the SG Copy Center. This is the line that flyers would go in. Please allocate $0.03 for Black ink copies and $0.06 for Color copies. Both black ink and color copies may be printed on colored paper. No more than $30 will be provided for any trophy or plaque. An award may only go to a student or student group which has won a competition. No more than $500.00 shall be expended on the rental of off-campus bars/nightclubs. Bars/nightclubs shall be defined as any vendor that pays a DJ and/or makes over 50% of its revenue on alcohol. Food can be up to 8% of your total budget or $600.00 which ever is greater. This includes cups, plates, and any other food related items SG does not pay for single rooms on travel requests. Groups need to share rooms when traveling if possible. When contacting vendors for quotes please be sure to asked for 0’-08’ prices. When filling out travel requests please be sure to fill in the number of travelers and the cost per traveler appropriately. For travel, ALL costs should be entered. Travel is only ½ funded, so committee must know total anticipated costs to accurate determine ½ funded amount. Number of travelers is REQUIRED field.
