Champagne & Sparkling Wines 2010

Perelada Brut Reserva Cava, Spain                                                                     £9.95
Equally at home as an aperitif or mixer, this is a lovely, sparkling Cava. The years of aging
have developed the fine aromas with the delicate tones, the good structure and the
elegant personality of this fine, dry and fruity wine.

Processco di Valdobbiadene, Italy                                                                £11.75
Very fashionable and a perfect alternative to Champagne. Flavour is balanced with
delicate fruity notes, low acidity and moderate alcohol content.

Meopham Valley, Sparkling Rose, England                                                           £15.50
A light, aromatic wine with refreshing acidity that balances nicely on the palate.
A risk worth taking in our opinion!

Champagne Faubert NV, France                                                                     £19.95
This Champagne has been produced by a small family-owned Champagne house since
1670 in the village of Champillon. A blend of Pinot Noir & Pinto Meunier. It has a rich fruit
and mouthfilling style, a lively mousse fresh balanced taste and delicacy, consistently
displaying the house style.

Champagne Heidsieck Dry Monopole NV, France                                                       £22.50
This great Champagne is a blend of 70% Pinot Noir, 10% Pinot Meunier and 20%
Chardonnay. It is light yellow in colour with green highlights. It is full and fruity with a
generous nose and has a well structured taste.

Champagne Joseph Perrier Cuvee Royale NV, France                                                 £25.75
This Champagne is blended by the traditional mixture of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot
Meunier to create a beautiful pale yellow hue. It has a good mousse and full biscuity flavour

Norte Chico Sauvignon Blanc, Chile                                                                 £7.95
This wine has a lively and fruity bouquet, unoaked to allow the full flavour of the excellent
Quality Sauvignon fruit to burst through, to produce a clean crisp finish.

Principato Pinot Grigio 2009, Ca’Vit, Italy                                                        £8.95
Straw yellow colour with slight tinges of gold. A delicate bouquet with flora and fruity scents.
Crisp and fresh on the palate.

Domaine Montrose Viognier 2008, Vin de Pays d’Oc, France                                           £9.50

A clean, crisp and extremely versatile wine that is the benchmark for Burgundy, coming

it an ideal companion for lamb and beef.

Gigondas Vieilles Vignes, Domaine du Grand Montmirail 2003, France                           £17.75
A strong and complex blend of spicy red fruits with aromas of liquorice and soft tannins.
This is a chunky wine that neighbours Chateau Neuf-du-Pape but offers superb value.

Chateau Lamothe Bergeron 2005, Cru Bourgeois Haut Medoc, France                              £18.50
An excellent example of a Cru Bourgeois at its best. Made predominatly from Cabernet
Sauvignon this wine exhibits ripe plumy fruit flavours and fine grained tannins. This is a
