   Activated Carbon Cartridges
                   Rainfresh LR1 filter cartridges are ultra-high performance activated
                   carbon filters designed to reduce Lead, Trihalomethanes (THM),
                   Volatile organic compounds and Chlorine from potable water. They
                   are also highly effective in improving water taste and odour.


                   LR1 cartridges are made from high quality activated carbon
                   constructed in a proprietary compact style to deliver high adsorption
                   performance and excellent contaminant removal characteristics.

                   The LR1 filter has been independently tested and certified by CSA
                   International to ANSI/NSF standard 53* for reduction of Lead, VOC                                  Efficient Reduction
                   (see below for list) & THM. It has also been tested and certified under                            of Lead
                   ANSI/NSF standard 42* for reduction of chlorine, taste and odour.

       NOTE: Not intended for making microbiologically safe water. If used on untreated water, adequate disinfection should be carried

       LR1 cartridges perform best when used with Rainfresh models UCCSM, UCS2, DS2, UCS3, DS3 &
       CT500*. However, they also fit and perform when used with competitive* 10” filter housings.

       * - CSA component certification does not extend to use with these models.
