SPILL PREVENTION, CONTROL, AND
COUNTERMEASURE PLANS (SPCC)
Federal regulation 40 CFR Part 112 in most cases requires that above ground storage
tank (AST) facilities with an aggregate storage capacity of 1,320 gallons or more
of oil implement a Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure Plan (SPCC).
Due to recent changes in U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations and the looming
deadlines, AGW’s SPCC services may be especially important to your company. According to the
EPA, effective August 17, 2004, SPCC plans for older ASTs must be modified to comply with the new
requirements. In addition, owners of both older and newer ASTs must implement an appropriate
SPCC plan by February 18, 2005. AGW has the experience to help you meet these deadlines.
A licensed Professional Engineer will review and certify each site-specific plan.
