	         Rental	times	are	stated	above.	All	set	up	of	equipment	such	as	tents,	tables,	chairs,	and	other	event	related	props	must occur
within the rental time period stated above.	All	equipment	being	set	up	must	be	disclosed	at	least	30	days	prior	to	the	event	and	the	Out-
side	Vendor	Contract	received.	Discovery Center: If	tents	are	being	used	and	they	cannot	be	set	up	during	the	rental	period,	the	set	up	
time	is	Friday	after	4pm.		All	other	equipment	set	up	can	start	at	4pm	the	day	of	your	event,	no	earlier.	All	events	at	this	location	may	
not	start	before	6pm	to	allow	2	hours	set	up.		All	tents	and	equipment	must	be	removed	by	Noon	on	Sunday.	All	other	area	must	adhere	
to	set	up	occurring	within	the	scheduled	time	periods	as	stated	above.
          Dance floors may be placed on the lawn no earlier than 4pm and must be removed from the lawn immediately at the conclusion
of the event. The Garden reserves the right to cancel the use of any dance floor due to weather or condition of the lawn up to 48 hours
prior	to	event.	Storage	space	is	available	in	the	Carriage	House	at	$100	per	hour	or	$250	overnight	(5pm	-	9am).	There	is	no	overnight	
storage	permitted	in	any	garden	area	unless	reserved.
				      Vendors	are	responsible	for	all	aspects	of	their	portion	of	the	event	including	clean	up	of	all	associated	items	for	set-up,	serving	
and trash generated by the party. The dumpster is located in the Discovery Center parking area. Please do not fill the trash cans at the
back	of	the	Carriage	House.	The	South	Carolina	Botanical	Garden	is	not	responsible	for	items	left	behind	by	vendors.	Clean	up	must	
occur	immediately	following	the	event	within	the	rental	period	stated	above.	
          The	South	Carolina	Botanical	Garden	staff	is	present	during	all	events	in	a	monitoring	capacity	only.	Set-up	times,	tear-down	
times and policies will be strictly adhered to. Your credit card number will remain on file until the close of the following business day
after	of	the	event.
				      All vendors must meet with the Garden Rental Manager at least 30 days prior to the event. Menu and Floor Plan for set up
layout must be attached and approved no later than 30 days prior to event. See SCBG Policies attached. Business license, proof of
general liability insurance and liquor liability insurance where applicable are required to be attached or on file with the Garden
Rental Manager for the current year. If these documents are not received as stated above, vendors will not be permitted onto the prop-
erty to set up. All set-up and layouts are subject to change and approval by Garden Rental Manager in accordance with the specifica-
tions of each garden area and capacity limits of such.
