Sisters of Rwanda, a nonprofit organization, is working to help the country's most vulnerable women by providing basic education, health care and counseling, as well as teaching skills to encourage financial independence. To help more young women enter the workforce, the Ministry of Family and Promotion of Women (Minfamu) last year established the Centre of Integration of Professional Training and Education, where young women learn skills like computing, sewing, hairdressing and secretarial know-how.
