Though less than six months old, the group is already actively planning networking luncheons featuring guest speakers and volunteer projects, such as visiting wounded warriors at hospitals, participating in nonprofit community improvement events, creating adopt-a-unit programs with care packages for servicemembers, and spotlighting an individual InfoPrint employee's military service and biography with periodic e-mails. The Veterans' Networking Group charter is based on five goals: * Recognize and highlight the contributions of InfoPrint employees' service to their country's national defense, both past and present. * Use shared experiences to serve as a support structure for those leaving for or returning from deployments, especially related to returns from military leave of absence. * Offer members the ability to network with one another. * Assist InfoPrint's human resources department and company veterans by maintaining a voluntary database of civilian and military skills and security clearances that the employee may wish to utilize on future projects. * Expand InfoPrint's corporate participation to include military charitable events in the communities where employees live and work.
