openings / exhibits / events / auctions PENNSYLVANIA A Potter's Life Margaret Tafoya honored in a new exhibition PITTSBURGH * An exhibition celebrating the pottery and lifelong achievements of Santa Clara Pueblo artist Margaret Tafoya debuts October 4 at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History. Proceeds from the show and sale benefit the City of Little Rock Riverfront Park Conservancy, which helps maintain the city's art collection and acquires public art. The exhibition, held at the NSS headquarters, features works made of alabaster, bronze, terra cotta, and marble depicting the human figure, animals, and abstract shapes by members from all over the world.
