Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) is an urban research
and academic health sciences university with 22 schools and academic units.
Located in downtown Indianapolis, a comfortable and affordable mid-sized city,
IUPUI enrolls more than 29,000 students. The vision of the IUPUI University
Library is to be the innovative leader among urban university libraries. It has a
staff of approximately 90 and a budget in excess of $8.5 million.
The IUPUI University Library seeks candidates for the position of
Assessment/Imagineering Librarian. The successful candidate will be
responsible for developing an assessment program for the library. In addition,
she/he will analyze trends that can be expected to affect the library and provide
information to support decision making.

An understanding of and experience with quantitative and qualitative
assessment methodologies, including the ability to utilize statistical
Ability to bring data and evidence to bear on decision-making
An interest in and ability to analyze and interpret how technological and
demographic trends will impact library services
Imagination and intelligence
Strong written and presentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
