In order to achieve this goal this article provides a basic overview of 5 pieces of U.S. legislation; it then discusses practical implications of these laws as they relate to the administration of accessible online postsecondary education. This article is not intended to offer or infer any specific legal advice. [PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
