ACCORDING TO THE New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development's monthly survey of employers, total payroll employment in the state declined by 200 jobs in July. Five private employment sectors, however, did show growth for the first seven months of 2008: education and health services (+4,800 jobs), professional and business services (+3,000 jobs), other services (+1,200 jobs), information (+700 jobs), and natural resources and mining (+100 jobs).
