It's bad enough that the whole Countdown format plays right into their hands - they've always had the dominating car from Indy on - but now the 1,000-foot racing deal also is perfect for their combination because they had one of the cars that always was on the rev limiter at about 1,000 feet. Test mode?: He could take the next three races off and still have the points lead, but it's interesting to note that Schumacher has said that, unlike last year, when some teams tested at the national events after they had locked up Countdown spots, they're not going to do that, and I think that's a good call.
