[...] Paraguay's Secretariat for Women's Affairs has conducted seminars on human trafficking with law enforcement officials in an effort to confront the culture of machismo and corruption found among police. Teacher training, school counseling, anti-trafficking posters plastered on walls in bus terminals, and even radio spots, have helped increase general public awareness of the issue, according to government officials and NGO leaders.
