ABC’s “JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE” WINS 2010 SILVER CLIO AWARD FOR INNOVATIVE MEDIA

Matt Damon and “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” parking lot security guard Guillermo in “Guillermo in The Informant!”
                                                     (ABC/MITCH HADDAD)

“Jimmy Kimmel Live” was awarded a SILVER CLIO in the Innovative Media category for its
partnership project with Warner Brothers’ film “The Informant,” as the two teamed up to create
“Guillermo in the Informant.” “Jimmy Kimmel Live” was recognized with its award in the digital gallery
of the Skylight Studios Soho in New York during last night’s CLIO Awards presentation of Interactive &
Innovative Awards.

The CLIO Awards is one of the world’s most recognized awards competitions for advertising,
design and communications, celebrating creative excellence, honoring a powerful form of
communication and its impact on modern culture.

“We are happy that we were able to collaborate with Warner Brothers uniting their brand with
our audience through an original comedy segment,” said “Jimmy Kimmel Live” co-executive producer,
Doug Deluca. “’Jimmy Kimmel Live’ has become a place where brands can reach consumers through
creative and comedic integrated content that delivers the product message in the signature ‘JKL’ voice.
Besides, it’s always fun for us to work with Matt Damon.”

“Guillermo in the Informant” stars “Jimmy Kimmel Live” parking lot security guard Guillermo
Rodriguez, who gets into a fist fight with Matt Damon while Joel McHale looks on. The piece was
directed by Andy Fischer, written by Will Burke and field produced by Jeff Sammon for “Jimmy Kimmel
Live.”

As part of their nightly program, “Jimmy Kimmel Live” generates original integrated creative
content by pairing the show’s writing and production forces with many of the world’s most
recognizable companies. Key integration examples include “JKL’s” joint venture with Ford to create
“Guillermotion” -- a choreographed Cinco de Mayo fiesta/musical number which overtook Hollywood
Boulevard, Pontiac for the now viral sensation “I’m F---ing Ben Affleck” -- and with Disney Pixar for the
digital insertion of Kimmel’s parking lot security guard Guillermo in “Up,” serving as the animated
young Boy Scout character.

“Jimmy Kimmel Live”
Packed with hilarious comedy bits and a house band led by Jimmy’s childhood best friend, “Jimmy
Kimmel Live” features a diverse lineup of guests that includes celebrities, athletes, musicians,
comedians and humorous human interest subjects. Each night, Jimmy delivers up-to-the minute news
addressing the hottest topics of the day in his monologue and recently has welcomed such notables as
Tom Cruise, Dustin Hoffman, Cameron Diaz, Robert Downey Jr., Charlize Theron, Jamie Foxx,
Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Mel Gibson, Queen Latifah, Harrison Ford, Anne
Hathaway, Robin Williams, Heidi Klum and Janet Jackson, as well as performances by Coldplay, Mary
J. Blige, Carrie Underwood, Weezer, Them Crooked Vultures, Alice in Chains, Kelly Clarkson, Tim
McGraw, Maxwell, The Killers, 50 Cent, Shakira, Pink, Depeche Mode, Mariah Carey and many more,
including Matt Damon… well, almost Matt Damon.

Jimmy Kimmel and Jill Leiderman serve as executive producers and Jason Schrift and Douglas DeLuca
serve as co-executive producers. Emmy Award-winning “Jimmy Kimmel Live” is shot live in front of a
studio audience and produced by Jackhole Industries in association with ABC Studios. For more go to

A FAMILY OF BALLET DANCING GOTHS THAT PICNICS IN CEMETERIES SWAPS WITH
A FANATICAL HOCKEY FAMILY THAT HATES LOSERS, ON ABC’S “WIFE SWAP”

“Schroeder/Wardle” – An artistic Goth family that encourages the kids to talk to the dead swaps
with a family of hockey fanatics that doesn’t hesitate to call kids losers when they play badly, on “Wife
Swap,” FRIDAY, JUNE 18 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Each week two very
contradictory families from across the country participate in a two-week-long challenge: The wives
exchange husbands, children and lives (but not bedrooms) to discover daily life in another woman’s
shoes. This astonishing experiment changes lives and redefines families. (Rebroadcast: OAD: 4/30/10)

Welcome to the dark side! The Addams Family have got nothing on the Schroeders from
Indiana, who embrace Goth culture, dressing in black, decorating their home with skulls and finding
beauty where other people don’t think to look – like graveyards, where they hold regular family
picnics. Mom Sheila wears vintage funeral dresses out shopping, and is proud her daughters can talk to
the dead and know five ways to kill a zombie. Former dancer Dad Eric has a taste for Goth skirts,
platform boots and long black and blue hair, and encourages the kids to dress Goth too -- despite the
fact they could be teased at school. Their four kids, Jordan (13), Alek (11), Ravynn (7) and Whisper (6),
are encouraged to be independent, learn about the arts and practice ballet. Sheila and Eric refuse to
believe that they should give in to society’s ideas of what is normal, and they discourage competitive
sports, even though both Jordan and Alek have expressed a desire do sports instead of ballet.

Meanwhile in New York, it’s all about sports and competition for the hockey fanatical Wardle
family. Mom Stacy is right next to Ed at every hockey activity, pushing her boys to win and calling them
losers if they don’t. Super competitive Ed and Stacy motivate their boys by singing songs about them
sucking at hockey, and image conscious Stacy wants to make sure the whole family looks stylish. Their
boys, Everett (10) and Ellis (6), are the hockey stars of the family; Emma (14) loves ballet, but her
parents would rather be at the hockey rink than watch her perform ballet, so Emma often feels left out.

In the first week, Sheila arrives at her new prim and proper home and must transform into a
hockey mom. At practice Sheila is uncomfortable telling the boys to play harder and calling them
losers, and she’s disturbed that Stacy and Ed never pay much attention to Emma’s love of dance. Finally
Sheila is overwhelmed when the whole family decide she’s not up to the job and sing to her that she
sucks at being a hockey mom. In Indiana Stacy is mortified at the skulls and Goth art in the Schroeder
home. After meeting the family, she refuses to dress in Goth attire and can’t understand why Eric and
Sheila would expose their kids to ridicule. Stacy is upset when the boys complain about how they want
to play sports, and when she has to go on a family picnic in a graveyard, she decides the whole family
is “weird, just weird.” After two weeks in another home, can Sheila Schroeder convince the Wardles to
turn Goth and encourage Emma’s passion for dance? And can Stacy Wardle succeed in bringing
competitive sports and stylish new look to the Gothic Schroeders ?

“Wife Swap” is an RDF USA production, created by Stephen Lambert and executive-produced
by Mike Gamson and Michael Davies of Embassy Row. Stephen Pettinger, Neil Regan, Julie Cooper,
Will Nothacker and Ed Simpson are co-executive producers. This program carries a TV-PG,L parental
guideline.

“EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION” HELPS A FAMILY WHO MADE ROOM
IN THEIR BIG HEARTS AND TINY HOME FOR FOUR MORE KIDS ON ONE HOUR’S NOTICE

Ashley Tisdale Volunteers for “Get on the Bus” Campaign

“Hampton Family” -- On July 14, 2009,“Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” traveled to Green
County, Missouri, to tell the eight members of the Hampton family – all living in a cramped one-
bedroom, one-bath cottage, 792 sq. ft. total – that they’ll have a new home in seven days. The original
family of four doubled in size not long ago after a fateful phone call from a social services agency. Chris
and Niki Hampton were told they had just one hour to decide if they would take in their four nieces
and nephews or let them go to foster care. This episode of “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” will air
SUNDAY, JUNE 20 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on ABC. (Rebroadcast: OAD: 10/4/09)

Ashley Tisdale (“High School Musical”) will be the celebrity volunteer for this build. The design
team for this episode will feature team leader Ty Pennington and designers Michael Moloney and Paige
Hemmis.

Chris and Niki didn’t hesitate to open their hearts and home to young Gage, Kira, Lexi and
Jacob, who now range in age from two to eight years old. Squeezing out the space for them, together
with eleven-year-old son Dakota and eight-year-old daughter Hannah, has been the real challenge.
Currently the three boys share one set of bunk beds in the dining room, and the three girls share
another set of bunks in what used to be a utility closet. Since the cottage has no closets, plastic storage
bins are stacked floor-to-ceiling in every room. Dinner is served assembly line-style, and everyone sits
on the floor except for the youngest children in booster seats. What the family lacks in comfort and
space, they more than make up for with love. The children are incredibly close – literally and
figuratively – and Chris and Niki look forward to the day when they move beyond full legal custody of
their nieces and nephews to become their adoptive parents. Chris, a land surveyor, basketball &
football coach and president of the Missouri Family Rodeo Association (MFRA), and Niki, a
saleswoman and MFRA secretary, also have rescued six horses that live on their five-acre farm along
with three dogs.

“Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” is produced by Endemol USA, a division of Endemol
Holding. David Goldberg is Chairman, Endemol North America. The executive producer is Anthony
Dominici. The series is broadcast with Spanish subtitles via secondary closed captioning. This program
carries a TV-PG parental guideline.
