         • Solicitation officially opens June 15th. Technical
           dialogues STOP. However, BRTRC has a web-based
           system, www.dodsbir.net/sitis, to allow e-mail questions
           and answers that are posted for all to see.


         • Solicitation closes at 6:00 a.m. EST July15th. THERE
           ARE NO EXCEPTIONS – don’t wait until the last
           minute!

      marketing the developed technology. Phase II proposals are a 24
      month effort, not to exceed $730,000.

                          Commercialization Report
  – If your firm has received 5 or more Phase II’s, the DoD
    Commercialization web-site will compare your report to
    historical averages and calculate a Commercialization
    Achievement Index (CIA) score.

  – Firms at the 5th percentile or below will receive no more than ½
    of the evaluation points available for commercial potential.
