Idahoans gather in a community meeting to discuss how to honor medical choices of people nearing the end of life. Boise, Idaho — May 10, 2004—A Better Way Coalition, Idaho statewide end-of-life coalition, is hosting a community meeting May 10, 2004, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. 5th Floor Anderson Center, St. Luke’s Medical Center, 190 East Bannock, Boise to discuss the important topic of advance care directives. How can Idaho advance care directive law ensure that you, your loved one, client or friend will have their medical wishes honored at the end of life? Plans are underway for a comprehensive review of advance care directive law in Idaho. The perspective of health care professionals, attorneys, family caregivers, and others is a vital part of the process. Living Wills, Durable Power of Attorney for Healthcare, DNR Orders, Nutrition and Hydration; Comfort One, Code Status, Competency Issues, Guardianship… what works and what does not work is the topic of the open community meeting.
