The main aim of the EUREKA project GEMSTONE is to adapt for practical use the new geophysical
investigation tool for rapid non-intrusive identification of „hot spots‟ of deterioration in embankments
                                  GMS.

06.2006 – 05.2009 BRAHMATWINN (Twinning European and South Asian River basins to

The project is enhancing capacity to carry out a harmonised integrated water resources
management (IWRM) approach as addressed by the European Water Initiative (EWI) in headwater
river systems of alpine mountain massifs already impacted from climate change, and to establish
transfer of professional IWRM expertise, approaches and tools based on case studies carried out in
twinning European and Asian river basins.

for Municipal housing in Central and Eastern European Countries); Intelligent Energy – Europe
(IEE) Progremme. The project INTENSE aims at transferring intelligent energy saving measures for
municipal housing from “old” EU Member States to “new” Member States, Accession and Candidate
countries in Central and Eastern Europe and it is built on a holistic approach for planning of energy
                                  optimized housing.

01.2009 – 12.2009: WAREMA (Water resources management capacity building on integrated
