valued customers. We know that timely resolution of service requests is of the utmost importance to
you and your business.

The purpose of this document is to remind you that to initiate a service request, you must provide a
product serial number (for Hardware) or support services contract number (for Software). Submitting a
service request without the required product serial number or support services contract number will
delay, and potentially prevent, fulfillment of your service request.

Where can I find the product serial number?

        ○   Download the Services Tool Bundle, which allows you to find the serial number
            electronically [certain systems] and to upload data relevant to your technical issue.

        ○   Registered Member Support users can use the Global Search feature in Sun's Member
            Support Center* to find the support services contract number or product serial number and
