                                        ACCREDITATION STANDARDS
  The Standards of Accreditation of Public Schools require that each school offer three programs of study in
  three different occupational areas. Below are the programs offered for 2007-08. If a program is offered at a
  secondary vocational center, students must be enrolled in the 2007-08 school year.
                                                 18 programs of study in 14 different pathways.

                                       ACADEMIC SKILL ATTAINMENT
 The academic attainment measure is based on the number of CTE concentrators who score proficient or
 advanced on the end-of-course Literacy and Geometry assessments. CTE concentrators are those students
 who have completed at least two units from a program of study in grades 9-12 and are leaving the secondary
 education system during the reporting year.

CTE Skill Attainment is based on the average scores in the CTE Student Competency Testing program for all
students tested at the end of a CTE course. The State Average is 70%.

                                               GRADUATION
The graduation rate for concentrators is based on the number of students identified as concentrators the
beginning of their senior year (completed at least two units in one occupational area) compared with the number
 of those who graduated. The State Average is 91%.

                                                  PLACEMENT
Placement is based on the status of completers six months following graduation. Completers who pursued
opportunities in postsecondary education, the workforce, or military are considered positive placements. The

                                  COMPLETERS OF PROGRAM STUDY
A completer is a graduate who successfully completed three or more units of credit within a program of study,
including all the core requirements for that program of study. There are two measures for this indicator. The
first is the number of completers compared to the number of graduates. The second is the number of seniors
enrolled in career and technical classes compared to the number of completers.
